# WNY's First Turbo SRT-8 Jeep

Whether the oil is pushing past the seals or going out the drain pipe, the flowrate will still stabilize to a constant number.

The only time there is 0psi after the restrictor is during the period of time while the cavity between the restrictor is filling with oil. It’s the same as spraying oil into a cup, the cup of oil has 0psi , the sprayer has X\>0 psi. Once the cavity fills up, the pressure begins to rise to a value that is high enough to push the reduced flowrate through the bearings. So the oil pressure at the turbo is effectively reduced, which is all I am trying to show you.

The seals of a turbo are rated to a pressure. The flowrate of a seal should be 0. But at a certain pressure, oil will push past them. The restrictor RESTRICTS the flow, in order to lower PRESSURE inside the turbo, dig?

Also to Focus and S2k - why aren’t we fucking riding then! I jogged past the house last week, 3 bikes up front, one was a Ducati, saw you three guys sitting in the backyard, if I ride by or jog by and see you guys I’ll say hey

Because none of the 8 bikes in my garage are rideable at the moment. The only one that is, happens to not be mine and is for sale on here. LOL

Agreed. I know a few people who are “masters” at fabrication, but it takes a truly special person to do it quickly _and_ correctly. Great work!

just saw a video of this truck racing an evo at cruise night. didn’t even see the truck other than when they staged. what’s this thing run in the 1/8th?

Best time was 8.3 at 87mph

He’s still learning to launch but he’s running full psi in tires.
