you’re right.

in all fairness, if McCain had run on the platform he ran on in 2000, and had chosen somebody realistic as a running mate, I wouldn’t have automatically supported whoever won the Democratic primary.

if it was McCain(2000) + Lincoln Chafee vs Hillary Clinton, I might have had a McCain sign in the front yard.

he sold the fuck out, and every Republican knows it.

i know exactly what Obama’s about. it’s why I’m voting for him.

i know less regarding what John McCain is about. in the course of my lifetime, he’s gone from washington insider, to alleged RINO, to “the Maverick”. the John McCain of 2000 would beat the piss out of McCain 2008, and follow it up by calling him an asshole.
