We had to call the Pittsburgh Zoo last year for an instance like this to see if they could help. It’s a shame, but it happens. I’ve heard stories about this happening also when I worked at shadyside. I’m pretty sure the nurse/doc said “sorry our mri can not fit someone of your build but i’ve had people goto the zoo to get their mri done.” The lady only heard “goto the zoo.” ---

haha I love it that this lady can’t be held accountable for her obesity and get mad that it interferes with her ability to use extremely sensitive machinery that was designed to work around the average body type.
