# Women... WTF!?!?!

So about 2 weeks ago things weren’t going that well w/ my (ex) gf. It seemed like every day she was growing more and and more attached and always this close --\> \<-- to the big “L” word. I can’t say I wasn’t having fun, but I just wasn’t feeling it on the level she was. I knew it was over w/ us but wasn’t sure how to go about telling her. I sort of avoided her for a few days while I tried to figure things out.
Well, as luck would have it this girl I’ve been after for a long time decides she’s coming by during this time. One thing leads to another, and we end up in my bed. Then around 3am my door opens, my gf walks in, and I’m like HOLY SHIT! Well, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that took care of my little problem of how to tell her it was over. So just like that I had made ‘the switch.’
Now, don’t get me wrong. I do feel bad about how things went down, I really should have been up front w/ girl #1 as soon as I thought it was over. We’ve talked a lot since then and I wouldn’t say we’re friends, but she doesn’t hate me as much as she has the right to.
So fast foward to 2am this morning. I’d been home from the gym about an hour, and I’m just sitting at my comp. browsing Norcal & Pittspeed. My door is half open but somebody knocks at it anyway (which I find odd). I say “come in” and bam, it’s girl #1. She’s kinda drunk, w/ some story about not wanting to drive back to campus like that (which is a good call I suppose). Well, in not so many words she basically wants the dick and wants to get back with me. I have to turn her away (girl #2 is a much better score IMHO), but I let her crash at my house anyway. At least she didn’t come in my room later w/ a knife or anything.
I feel like I live in some fucking soap opera.

I have… that’s why I didn’t take advantage of the situation last night. I want to be w/ the girl I’m w/ now. But it sure doesn’t make things easy when the ex rolls in at 2am looking for something. (Reminds me of the Offspring song “Self Esteem” – Late at night she knocks on my door, she’s drunk again and lookin’ to score… I know I should say no, but it’s kinda hard when she’s ready to go – accept I did say no)
