1. In a revelation that lends new meaning to the phrase “fast women,” a German sprinting coach says research proves that female sprinters who have sex before competing generally perform better. The coach, Uwe Hakus, told the aptly named German magazine Fit for Fun that women’s testosterone levels rise after sex, which may explain the boost in performance. Alas, the opposite is true for males, perhaps because the overwhelming urge to take a nap adds crucial seconds (minutes? hours?) to a 100-meter time.

Note to self: attend womens track events with this research in hand
