Canada downs Sweden 3-2 in OT!

Tense game…Canada leading 2-0 until late 3rd…Swedes tied it up with 00:45 left

Swedish goalie is still lying face down in crease crying!🤣

Alfredsson lost the bet with Melnyk…he has to wear a Team Canada Jersey at the next practice LOL!

GOLD = CANADA
SILVER = SWEDEN
BRONZE = RUSSIA
LONG PLANE RIDE BACK = USA:greddy:

that was a close game

the bronze game was a disgrace, the russians outplayed the americans big time

next years worlds should be a bit tighter with the additon of latvia and germany (replacing switzerland and denmark iirc)

ahh I didn’t watch it too much after the very end, but he had one of his arms in a cast, I noticed that after the game. But yeah, he got taken out by a hard hit during the first period.

Steve Mason and John Taveres are also from Oakville btw, haha
