Of course cougars are still desirable. That’s what makes them cougars. Otherwise they’d just be old broads. ---

^Yeah, that does sounds like the same story(more or less) I posted before. The hunters say the insurance companies are [secretly] funding the preditor programs to thin deer population. ---

meh, I don’t NOT believe it. I wouldn’t consider it to be the truth either though, unless it was somehow confirmed. Could have been a case of a migrating animal, or animals that have escaped cages or whatever…or both ---

It just seems too ridiculous to be true. If this were the case, why are you still only allowed to shoot X number of deer when you get a permit? ---

If you are Democrat(think tree hugger), releasing cougars is more natural. :rolljerk: Democrats hate hunters. Furthermore deer damage to cars puts way more money into NYS economy than hunters, I would bet. The guy selling the cougars is probably the DEC heads brother who is getting paid. It could be argued either way I guess. ---

This picture, along with a similar other one, have been circulating around the text-world for over a year. I got this one from someone almost a year ago saying it was hit by a car near the PA border, then a couple weeks later by another friend saying it was hit by a car near Rochester. Unless there’s some kind of news story behind this, or something that holds more fact than a viral text picture, then this isn’t worth blinking an eye at. ---
