> No I agree, treating yourself is fine…but spending it on something a little more useful for the price would make more since, buying a watch like that just seems like someone is trying to show off.

If someone buys it and goes around saying “ohhh look at this, look at the price tag, I bought it!!!” then yes, it is showing off. Most real “rich” people don’t talk about their finances or what they spend on things. This watch, though, is something I would see on the hands of some rap artist who just got a record deal, or someone from Dubai wearing. There’s a lot of better watches that aren’t as flashy that go for this price and more.

some guy left a 80k watch on my desk a couple weeks ago, i didnt know what it was since it was in a wooden box inside a carboard packing box.

He called later looking for it, i just so happened to have it in my desk, not knowing it was a crazy expensive watch untill he called and asked me to see if it was still there.

> People who have disposable income. $80-90k isn’t even that much compared to some other watches I’ve seen. I thought mine were expensive at first, at $2400 and $4200, but that’s not shit compared to some other quality brands.

I guess Im just used to buying \<$10 watches from Walmart (like the one I broke working on my truck) and the occasional $40 watch my father gives me when he gets a new one and I think the Citizen’s watch I was given as a gift for college graduation was expensive.

The battery in that one died 2+ years ago and I havent bothered to get another one since I hardly wore it anyway. Ive got a Timex or Armitron (cant remember which one) that needs a battery so Ill probably just get one for it instead of buying another watch when I get time.

Im really rough on watches and cant justify buying an expensive one. Im always breaking them working on cars or at work.

I spent $400@Fossil 4 years ago and spent $8 on a battery so far
no need for a $$$$$ watch. all it does is tell time!

I only spend like 200-500 on watches. More than that seems un necessary. But I can’t afford more than that. If I could, who knows

Everyone on here spewing how they say they could never spend that much money on a watch and that it’s totally unnecessary make me laugh. You are the same people, some of you too, that spend most of your hard earned money on modding your car.

Riddle me this, how the hell is that any different from going out and getting an expensive watch? In theory, a watch tells time and a car gets you from point A to point B.
