# Would you use a fuel on demand service / app?

I really can’t see myself ever in a situation where this would be needed, but obviously someone does since there are already a bunch of them:

Yeah the filld one only costs $5 per fill, but who knows.
Maybe it would be useful for diesel vehicles?

I don’t know how much money I’d have to make to think paying $10 to have someone fill my car with gas was worth it, but I know I don’t make that much yet.

Noco does offer this service for diesel fuel. We had it for our delivery fleet at my job when we used diesel trucks. It’s super convenient

This would make sense for fleets sure. But every place I have worked at that had a fleet of cars had its own fuel pump on premises. I guess if you didn’t want to invest the money in a gas pump, and upkeep that would make sense.
When I was a kid I worked for a Magazine distributing company in Cheektowaga. When business was good we had a fuel pump and the drivers would fill the delivery trucks at work. When the business was going to shit the owner got rid of the fuel pump and made the guys drive to sunoco on the way home from their route.

the concept is interesting, The video is more interesting. It shows refueling being done from a box truck in a parking garage. most parking garages will not accommodate a large truck. I would imagine even fewer would appreciate refueling being done in their garage. This is a insurance nightmare from a liability standpoint but I don’t want to get into that mess. Don’t most premium cars have locking fuel doors? I have to imagine that average person that would purchase such a service would have a premium car rather than a toyota or honda… just some thoughts.
