My Manager has a 2002 Jetta with a blown Motor. He said the timing belt broke and made it go Poof. I guess the car is just out of warrenty and VW says “Tough shit.” He wants to know the cost of a used 1.8T. Its prolly a shot in the dark here but let me know if you have any advice for him.

he should try ebay, if no motors there call jasper. then if a jasper motor costs as much as buying a totalled jetta 1.8t from ebay, then buy the totalled one, use the motor, and part the rest out and he could come out with more money in the end
