# wtb 10 or 12 gun safe

as the title states I’m in need of a 10 or 12 place gun safe or cabinet. I know it’s a long shot, but I figured I would see if anybody on here has any f/s

pick up one at tractor supply, they have really nice ones fairly cheap. gun vaults really

The ones Tractor Supply sell aren’t bad from when I was looking at getting one. If you’re looking for a basic cabinet and not a safe, just get one of those Stack-On brand units from Dick’s. That’s what I use since there’s no kids in the house. There’s no fire protection, but that’s what home-owners is for.

how much are you looking to spend would be my first question. if that number is sub $1500, I’d look at a Browning(go to zacks to see them in person). if it’s under a grand, the aforementioned tractor supply ones are fine.

something cheap and easy to move for now. I have to be able to get it through the kitchen and down a single flight of stairs and then back out again without damaging the house or myself. When I build my own house I’m thinking humidity and temp controlled 50 place.

id say make your own if you want a good one for the price. i was looking into steel reniforced concrete safes with steel doors. one could make one pretty easy if hes a hands on person.

dude did you miss the post where I said it has to be brought in the house and hand carried down a flight of stairs??? Yes when I build my own house I will install a large capacity safe that is anchored to the floor. However that is years away. Right now I just need something to organize and store my long guns. :skid

i saw you mentioned that. that would be part of the design process. you could make a safe for just a pistol that anyone could carry. or you could make a safe huge. my words shouldnt have lead you to think huge safe

Ok just to put this on track again. I’m only looking for either a 10 or 12 place safe or locker and only those 2 sizes due to space limitations. If anybody has either of those things to sell please let me know.

Any good quality safe is gonna weight at least 350lb. For what you want, I’d say just get a cheapo one from dicks, the thin metal type
