i’m certainly not gonna run them bare. they’ll have some kinda coating on them. i jumped on this set cause of the price. my last resort will be to pickup a set of 5spoke AFS knockoffs on ebay at the last minute. But we’ll see if anything else comes up.

do you run spacers/adapters in the back? or is the 454SS offset fine for the vette wheels?

Adapters front & rear. Remember the Sy/Ty’s are 4wd based, so they have FWD style offset from the factory. The 454SS uses regular RWD offset (I think the original wheels had 3.5" or 4" backspace on a 15x7 wheel - similar to my '66 GTO’s 7" wheel). I have a 1.25" front spacer & 1.75" rear spacer. The fronts I had bought, but the rears I had made at a machne shop 10 years ago. Nobody had them back then. Now for $300 I could buy a complete set that are CNC machined with hub-centric centers. Try here: [http://www.motorsport-tech.com/](http://www.motorsport-tech.com/) They make a nice product.

What I like most about the Vette wheels on yours and Brandon’s truck is that they fit the era of the truck. 90’s wheels on 90’s trucks is where it’s at.
