Picked up a pair of 360s and I need at least one HDD so I can use live.
Any one have a spare 20gb they arent using?

How hard is it to upgrade the HD? I have the 20 gig and want to add more space. Is it as simple as switching one out for another? Will it affect my live account and how will I transfer over saved games and downloaded content?

yes, they just pop right off the top of the system(removing can be a pain in the ass though). when you get on with a new hdd you will have to recover your xbox live account. its pretty straight-forward from there. i think you need a memory card to transfer data, but i’m not sure… as far as downloaded content, i think once you re establish your live account you can just re download it without being charged. i’m not 100% certain, but thats what i’ve been made to understand. hope this helps.

so wait, do you have these in the shell that plugs into the top for the 360 HDD? I dont actually have that.

The casing that goes on top of the xbox 360, he doesn’t have it. so he would need the actual HD and the casing that snaps onto the xbox

yeah, this is what I am looking for not a laptop hdd to swap.
