# WTB 88-91 distributer

i am looking of a used distributer 6 pin for my 1990 honda civic lx if any one has one please contact me thanks p.s i am doing a msd set up no need for the coil

I have one from a d15b2 and one from a d16a6.
I’m not firmiliar which engine is in the LX, but my guess is the d15b2.
Both work fine.

DONT DO THE MSD. just do some research on honda-tech about it. they eat ignitors and cause misfires. the OEM ignition is good to 600hp, why change it?
i also hope you’re doing a mpfi swap, the stock dual point injection is totally worthless.
btw, the LX is a d15b2. but if you’re doing the mpfi swap, you’ll need the one from the d16a6.

ive been running the msd ignition for about 9 months, havent had any problems yet…keyword YET. im waiting for something to give

i had the msd set up already but what happend was when my friend did my trasmition swap he pished the wires that ran to the blaster coil with the battery plate and for that reason i had a eletrical fire that burn all the wires that run into the distributer … so to be safe i want to get a different distributer and do the msd et up over again

now would be a good time to DELETE the msd. im not gonna shit up your FS thread though.
edit: distributor, not distributer.

He would need to use the one from a d15b2, can’t mix dpfi w/mpfi.
