# WTB:93-97 LT1 bare block

I am looking to purchase a 93-97 LT1 bare block for my 1996 Camaro Z28. I am looking to spend no more than 500 bucks. i am going to be making it a 396 stroker. thanks for any help you can give me.

just go to the junkyard you can get a whole engine out of a roadmaster or w/e for like 400$ …

i know that ls1\>lt1 but, i don’t really want to get rid of my car. and i don’t want to have to deal with rewiring the entire car to run an ls1. unless i can get a really good deal on an ls1 harness and computer.

I’m pretty sure i saw a few at clinton auto wrecking last time i was there. Call and ask anthony 856-1616 i think they were out of roadmasters

Call paul at PM performance, they specialize in LT1s. I know thay have a lot of parts, and maybe can help with your project. :tup:
