Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt and i have to play with it to get it to latch. So im done screwing around, its a 96 civic ex coupe. Just need the part that bolts to the trunk itself, nothing else. Let me know, thanks!

buddy at the dealer finally got back to me, cant beat 20 bucks brand new. So im allset.

its prob. just in need of lubrication or adjustment. mine used to do it all the time. it used to pop open randomly.

installed the new latch today, works mint. Yah i adjusted/lubed etc and it helped a little but nowhere near where it should be. Now it shuts everytime, all the time.
