I have a project that Im researching and currently at the stage of fitment. I know a 12" squared box will fit. So, I just need a container to hold coolant its going to be a BIG coolant/water resv. (like 5gal. or whatever that size tank above^^/container/box will hold).
So, it obviously needs to be water tight, and I ~want~ 3/4"-1" IN/OUT’s.

If no one has anything like this, could someone pooint me where to look, please? I know there’s fuel cells but, the only have like 1/2" IN/OUT’s. 3/4" is the minimum I can run. I’d LOVE to find an aluminum tank.

Thanks

^^^^LOL, I know…its pretty random but, I figured…wtf.

John, I’ve pulled a bit of weight where this wouldnt be too negative. I’ll be testing it out to see if it is/was worth it. Kinda why I’m trying to do it cheap right now.

I could make you an aluminum tank. It prob wouldnt be super cheap, but its def possible.

Edit: 1gal = 0.133681cuft or 1cuft = 7.48gal

eeehh, ok I dont need 7gal. since that’ll be too much weight. I want about 5gal. at most so the weight isnt too much. So the container/tank, the extra hose length, and th temp. gauge dont go over 50lbs.
I’d be interested in an aluminum tank…sized for 5gal. Lemmie know how much you want.

Thanks.

PM me where you live (in general) and maybe I could just come out to you and show you the srawing and the car, aaand where its going to go. I figured I’d make the brackets since Im not 100% on where I want it for sure yet. BUT, if we get it figured out…then tabs fo sho. OH! I want to use 3/4" to 1" barbed fittings. I have 3/4" here now so I might just stick with them. I might have another project to go with this tank as well. I’ll chat with you through PM about it. 😉
