looking for something under $3k for a starter bike never rode before so im thinking 500-600cc even though i want a 1000 id kill myself ---

600cc i think is an intermediate bike if you really want beginner get a 250cc, you can get one brand new for 2500 ---

i still want something that i can ride for awhile i think a 250 would get old quick. anyone know why 9x bikes seem to be going for more then 0x bikes do they just hold value better? ---

well i have learned one thing from my thread, some people on here act like a mid-late 90’s bike depreciates like a ford taurus. it makes me lol come spring there will be PLENTY of WTBers out there for a good starter 600 and NOT alot of them for sale. ---

r6, cbr600rr, zx6r, gixxer 600- all good quick bikes thats you probably wont get sick of as fast as you would with a 500. BTW honda ride bikes are always for sale, maybe not on nyspeed but they really are for sale all the time. Check out [www.buffalostreetriders.com](http://www.buffalostreetriders.com) sometimes people on there can point you in the right direction. ---

Im sure someone would drive 2 hrs to save $1000 or more on anything.And shipping on bikes are cheap and so are plane tickets. ---

well my offer on the cbr is 2800 you were selling for around 3 if i remember but wanted to sell it sooner, everyone seems to think even that is to much but its local which is what im looking for. ---

I mean a cbr600 f3 was worth 2500-3k 4 years ago, and still worth 2500-3 today. for reference, I sold my 01 r6 in beautiful shape last year for 3100 ---

To OP… My cousin is selling his 1998 cbr 600 f3 with a few goodies on it. I talked with him a few weeks ago and im sure he’d take 2500ish iirc it has 14k miles, jardine pipe, new tires, new brakes, tune up etc etc. Has a crack on the rear tail, i think that’s the ONLY imperfection on it… If you want more details, PM me and i can get pictures/specific details. He’s a good guy and just had a kid so he wont be riding it anymore. LMK :tup: EDIT: maroon and tan in color ---
