I was installing my brothers system and accedently crossed speaker wires and watched the internals of the AMP light up like a X-mass tree, vary cool, just not funny…
Stuped crap is it didnt even blow the 20 amp fuse…
anyhow looking for somthin cheap as it will be replacing a 1000watt legacy
2 or 4 channel a guess mono could work but im running 2 dual voice coil subs and would prolly sound like poop with a mono.
let me know what you got.

what do you wanna spend???
a good mono block will sound just fine when your box and the gains are correct. plus the mono block will be easier on your electrical system

once again, make sure its the RMS rating, not whatever the big number on the box is.

it will sound no differant stereo or mono as sub bass frequencies are only boradcast in mono.

hmm thanks for the info… if your in the NT area feel free to drop off the cap brackets, the cap rolling around my trunk scars baby jesus.
50-75 is what im looking to spend or less.

take it to the hi fi hospital he should be able to fix it for like 20 bucks

So I had picked up an amp, but it didnt include a needed part didnt relize it till I went to install it 2 weeks ago…
So now im looking for another amp.

it was supramans amp the 1500 (BOSS RT1500D 1500 WATT CLASS D MONO). it powers up but it seams like the RCA’s arnt hooked up the only thing I figure (he swears up and down it worked when he pulled it) is that because I don’t have the “remote” the base control that it is muted or somthing. (he forgot to pull it out of the car before he sold it.)

I have a spl z2x1200 amp that ill let go for like 75. it was used for less then one summer. it pushes 300w x 2 channels at 2 ohms. It has a few minor scratch but other wise works fine. Was into the whole car audio thing for a while but then i decided to rebuild a monte carlo.

I have a like new jbl 1000.1 rms amp that i’ll take $100 for…its was used for like 3 months
