Actually, get a better phone. No phone requires a data plan unless you sign a contract and get the phone discounted. What I mean is if you walk in with your own phone, no matter what it is, data is not required. If you get the phone from Verizon, thats a different story. The Samsung is a girls phone if you ask me. ---

Benny how much? Im looking something so i can take my old android phone off the plan get rid of insurance and just toss this phone on take the battery out and toss it in a drawer just so i dont have to pay the 350 termination fee ---

Its not a true andriod its an LG Ally with the Android Operating system it has Froyo 2.2.2 on it currently ---
