you could get a dell 5150 w/ a 19 monitor for 399
resell the montitor for 200 and have a new computer

I think Willybeen has an old celeron 300 system laying around that I used to use as a server when I was there. Not fast by any means but it will run XP, and go on the internet and such.
Might want to PM him and see if he’ll part with it for a few bucks like under $30. Then I could toss XP back on it again with all the other goodies.

I never actaully used it as I had a 1.2 already. I just water-cooled it and bumped it to +1.4GHz. It’s suprising how well they hold up at around +75C. 🙂
I have the board and cpu still but I cut up the heat-sinks to make the water cooling setup during the heat-wave. Then I got a free used celeron 2.4 with mobo, so it’s chilling in a drawer with my old geforce4.
As for that 1.4 proc it did some crazy funky shit to games especially. Never thought a damaged proc could do that. :lol:
