Yea, it will definitely work if you use an **AUTOMATIC** y8 IM. The y7 uses a throttle body mounted 3 wire IAC which is entirely different, HOWEVER, the automatic y8 uses the same setup and does not have the bosses drilled for the regular 2 wire IAC that the manual uses.
