I have the model down from it… we got direct tv before i bought my HDTV… they wont let me trade it in and pay the diffreence… those fuckers
Its a DVR just standard deff

this tv looks like ass in SD…
i have been barly watching regualr tv and just downloading every piece of HD shows/movies i can find… im 8 episodes away from finishing fringe…
i gotta find something to watch after that

Come to find out my R22 DVR box after an update 3 days ago is HD capeable now…
I spent 2 hours on the phone with direct tv talking to people who wouldent look into anything more than what they thought they knew before I talked to someone who was aware of this, and upgraded me to HD service without buying me another 200 dollar box to get it.
Down side is I have to wait till tuesday to get B-Band Controllers and a new slimline dish, althought I was told from the beggingin my dish was an HD capeable dish and all I would need is an HD reciever wich now neither are true
