# WTB: Dish VIP hd reciever

well, i need an additional reciever for my bedroom and i dont want a contract so im looking to buy one obviously. Must be one you own and not leased. lol
HD reciever only and im told i can use any VIP style reciever. so let me know what you guys got. thanks.

ah damn, i was more than happy to sell a leased one.
Your best bets for this are going to be egay/craigslist, hardly anyone owns any more since they give you your first 4 leased for free or cheap…

They won’t lease you another receiver without a contract?
Come to think of it, check the ETF on the contract vs. the cost of buying the receiver. It may work out that even if you cancel early, you save money…

I think that’s Dish’s most basic HD single tuner non-dvr receiver.

Yes sir, that’s exactly the reason. Apparently they don’t like the Free to Air people rocking the free pay per view and porn on their tab. And to think, I mostly just used it for Chargers games ☹
