# WTB: drivers side headlamp motor

I’m looking for a s13 drivers side headlamp motor. If you have a complete assembly i may take that aswell but i do not need a headlamp or the cover, just the bare assembly. There must be zero play with the motor. Mine right now shakes like a whore when my car is idleing.

I have one here, however if it’s your light that’s bouncing around, all you need to do is loosen the lock nut on the arm, and adjust it until the light is tight again.

Thanks for that tip ill give it a try. Whats happening now is that if i grab the headlight i can move it up and down and i you can actaully see the shaft on the motor moving.

Yeah, that’s what mine was doing, but it was only about 3-4mm of play. Enough to be annoying at night. If you take a peek, you’ll see there are two lock nuts, one at the top and one at the bottom of the arm. Loosen them both, and spin the arm (which will lengthen or shorten it). Lengthen it until the play is minimal, but before the light gets raised.
