if you’re going to buy something like this, the $1500 route is a bad one. tried that out. it’d make a lot more sense to spend the extra buck on something like Dre’s car that has been actually maintained because if it hasn’t been maintained, it can turn into a nightmare real quick. it’s a beamer, there’s plenty of stupid shit to break on it.

So have a bunch of us. The people I’m thinking of drove the piss out of their e30’s and for the most part the cars keep chugging along.
BTW it’s not a “beamer” it’s a bimmer. A beamer is a bmw motorcycle.

I went to edit my post after and got too lazy, who cares. the cars keep chugging along but they get real haggard, just sayin’.

I’m kind of torn on this. While I don’t mind doing the work, I prefer not to. It is a lot cheaper and easier to buy a car that’s good to go. My intent for the future is to only buy cars that are ready to go for daily drivers, and only pick up projects as project cars
but we all know i never hold true to that, i found a $1500 318i in chicago i want lol

Well, I know that the OP is definitely looking for $1500 or less. I picked one up for $500, drove it for a few months and then parted it for over $1k. Nothing wrong with buying a cheap-ass E30 as long as it isn’t your only transportation.
