# WTB Evap Sytem for 00 Gsr

EDIT: Im all set, dont need this anymore.
Inspection PASSED!!!
so im getting evap not ready and need to pass ny emissions.
looking for evap can with solonoid on top and the solonoid thingie
that sits on top of the IM.

Are you sure you need an evap? Was the battery disconnected on the car, like over winter or recently? You may need to just drive it a bit, or new battery.

you can have one monitor not ready, you need 4 out of 5 to pass. im not sure on the 5th monitor on these tho, seeing as there is no egr, but the other 4 are evap, o2, o2 sensor heater, and catalyst… it should have one more im not sure what it is tho

No Shit, hoffmans told me they all have to be ready?
I was having problems with the o2, catalyst and EVAP.
Took care of the o2 and catalyst but EVAP is still NOT READY.
Redevil, No i think there is something wrong with the system.
I did all the drive cycles and everything.
The 4th is Fuel System i think

thanks for the heads up xds.
those dummies at hoffmans would have had me chasin my
tail trying to fix that dumb evap problem.
car is hooked up to inspection machine as im writing this. fingers crossed!
In hoffamns defense it wasnt the guys in the garage that fed me the wrong
info, it was the girl answering the phone. The guys that work there were actually
really cool and willing to help in any way.

This guy seems to know what he is talking about. Is there actually a check engine light on? Cause it sounds like the computer just didn’t got thru the system test yet, as if you had reset your computer’s memory either by scanner or loss of voltage. I would not start shotgunning parts at it yet.

no crack in the wiper path, no straight line crack longer than 11 inches fails or a star crack thats 3 inches or more in diameter… i think i saw the picture of your crack that was down in the drivers side bottom corner… from what i remember i think your crack is passable, but get it stickered soon so it doesnt spread
