Hey all, Not keeping it much of a secret here, looking to get into a pre 1995 Del Sol for my next car. Ideally, I want a stock one. But if it has been swapped in some way and was done correctly, I would consider it. MAY consider 1995ish Civics if they are extremely clean. Criteria: No rust 5 speed Mileage, \<150k would be nice Looking to spend between 2 and 4 grand. Willing to travel up to 5 hours in 1 direction I’ve been hunting craigslist like crazy, but I’m not gonna be a dick if people post things I’ve already seen. There is always the chance I overlook something. Have not looked on HT, B20 or other Honda forums yet, which I will spend tonight doing. If anyone sees anything, let me know. The first one I got more pics, its got NASTY 1/4 panel rust on 1 side. The first turbo one the dude has yet to call me back, but its a possibility. The third one is auto. The 4th one is sold ☹ That one looked super clean. The turbo one in schdy is sold too. That one for 1400 in Mass, I did not see it before. About to call. The one in amsterdam is TRASHED on the back 1/4, I went to see it before I sold the CL. The last one I am waiting for contact back from the dude. Thats what I mean by I miss things :lol (the black one for 1400) Thanks for keeping an eye out dude! ---

your reliablity with an aftermarket turbo car for the most part should be good. Just depends how good shape its in and what the previous owner did maintenance wise. But you will have days with no car if its your dd so be prepared. ---

I’m keeping what everyone is saying in mind, but what everyone is saying is the general idea, aside from I would like my fun car to be the daily for the summer. It won’t be a permanent daily, but it will be for a short time, so stupid powerful turbo setups are out of the question. Also, ZERO rust is a MUST. I have a month or so before I move back home and will be far enough from where I currently work that I would NEED a car. So I have a while before I would at minimum buy a daily. ---

Ghetto turbo setups should be out as well. Problem I have with turbo cars as daily drivers is that there’s more parts that can break. Laduke is a prime example. ---
