im tired of lugging all my cd’s around in my car. looking for a used ipod, and pay someone to put all my cd’s on it.(160+cd’s)

I think around 4500-5000. I have 1667 songs and 13.5 gigs left on my 20 gig.

Our 16 y/o might be interested in loading the CDs for you, but she’d like to know “what a job like that would pay”. 🙂

I’m awaiting her call to give me a price.
EDIT: it’s a 30 gig iPod video, so more like 7500 songs. She also has these speakers available at an additional price:

you have the AUX input on your radio from the factory, all you will need is a headphone jack to headphone jack for a quik easy install

not a whole ot, i know they cost like $200+ new, so whatever is a fair price for a used one…there were a few on ebay, but im not a fan of ebay

iPod Nano 4gb for 149 at best buy. 8gb for 199. both do video & mp3s.
I bought my 30gb new for 249 a year ago. Best $$ spent. I don’t carry a single CD with me anymore & it is roughly the same
size as my cell phone. I’ve got roughly 1400 songs on it + several videos/pix & there is still 25gb left to use.
If you are a Sams club member, they have another $10 or so off of best buy’s price.

That is with a song average size of 4mb…which all depends on song length and quality…depends on how picky you are…i like all my songs a 192kbps which would give me a bit less that those numbers

They have good deals going on…but to those looking for something that plays video…stay away from the nano…the screen is uber small and the whole video feature shouldn’t even be a selling point(sadly it is) and if your the type to throw movies and porn on your mobile device…your going to need MUCH more than even 8gb, hell my 8gb iphone is already at 75% capacity AFTER i picked over my song library as to what i wanted on it
