First of all, I have a very basic knowledge of computers so if my terminology is off…deal with it.
I’ve had a less than legal copy of XP Pro on my computer for the past 7 years or so. I have no idea how old it was when I got it. I’d like to get something legal so I can run updates.
I’ve been told that UB students can get this for dirt cheap??? I’d be willing to let a student make a few $$$ off of me if they can hook it up.
This is all coming about as I reinstalled XP and now I’m having issues with drivers not installing, not having sound, random install discs for my printer, usb port, etc. aren’t working…I have no idea if a legit XP is what I need but I figured it can’t hurt.

Quite a few non-legit versions of XP floating around that allow you to get updates.Even the ones that don’t,all you need is a patch/crack.
Mine became badly scratched,now I use :snky: Vista Ultimate.

You can download a windows xp pro cd online. Just make sure you have your cd key.
