# WTB : Miata Motor. 1.6 or 1.8

mazdaspeed NB motor? that way you wont have to worry about blowin it up as much lol

For the price of the motor and headache of the swap I would go 5.0 before that…

I am just going to build up a 1.6 or leave it na with a 1.8.  
I think a new front main seal / timing belt / valve cover gasket and the current motor would be good to go.  
Just when you hammer a 15 year old motor like I do any weak point fails…  
sooner or later things will stop failing hahaha

try [http://www.nuwerautoparts.com/](http://www.nuwerautoparts.com/) got my engine from them for $350 with 45k miles on it they should have a few 1.8 motors left

also there is some low mileage bp engines on ebay for $400

I have a non molested 1.6 for $250. 100k miles and runs strong.

I live 5 min from newers auto wreckers. They are ass holes and they lie about the milage on there motors. I have a buddy that worked there for a little while and quit when he found out how bullshit that place is. Just call them up and ask them for something, you’ll see. Cocky little bastards.
