There was a white golf on ROFL for like 500. Needed a motor.

I never understood that logic. I see cars on Craigslist all the time for something like $800 and the ad says if it doesnt sell by the end of the weekend Im scrapping it on Monday. Like who would actually pay more than scrap value at that point?
