# WTB: mobo for an amd t-bird processor

just as the title says…I have an old athlon t-bird 1.4 ghz processor, and my pos ECS mobo just popped a bunch of capacitors and is shot. I know someone has one of these dinosaurs laying around for cheap. 🙂 I just need the mobo though, no processor or ram needed. If you have what i need please gimme a call 316-8454

I have a Gigabyte socket A GA-7ZX laying around if you want it, it used to have a 1.4 T bird in it I believe, the only thing is I do not know if it still works, I tried swapping in a different socket A processor into it and it did not boot, black screen and no beeps( i put that processor back into its old MB and worked fine). I put the 1.4 T bird back in and it also would not boot anymore(there were some burn marks on the cpu when I took it out the first time ,the previous owner may have overheated the cpu)
let me know if you want to try it out

on an off topic note: you remember those ol skool slot a ones? giant fucking nintendo cartridges plugged into a mobo. LOL.
