# WTB: Polished Plenum for 1990+300zx \[FOUND ONE\]

I am looking for a polished upper plenum for my 90TT 5spd.Timing is a little rushed on this and if I don’t find one by Friday April 23 I am dropping the plan to swap it out since I need to move forward with ripping out my old injectors and getting my ride back together.

Oh man, good luck trying to find someone in Alberta that just happens to have a polished Z32 plenum lying around.
If timing is the issue and you need one fast, I’d recommend buying from one of the [tt.net](http://tt.net) sponsors, like SGP for example. You can get one on a core-exchange basis, so you may have to pay a core-deposit upfront, they ship you the polished one, and then you send yours to them and you get your core-charge back.
The polished plenums are not cheap, like ~$500 USD or something like that (actually the $500 for a whole kit likely includes more polished parts than just the plenum, can’t remember), but the quality from a place like SGP would likely be far superior to a local jobber.
I won’t rule out myself getting one or polishing my own someday, but consider it merely a luxury. I wouldn’t hold up your injector swap just for the sake of beautifying your plenum… you could always do that later.

UltimateZ had one… on its way and should make it in time for my injector upgrade. 😃
You’re right though I looked everywhere and they are hard to find in stock! Stillen and Z1 were saying from30-60days delivery!
Same deal with Ultimate Z their core charge was $300USD. It will look a little funny until I can start swapping out the other components with the polished/powder coated stuff but at least I can do those on weekends and evenings and the big part of the job will be done all at once.
I was hoping someone bought one, had it sitting on the shelf for a long time contemplating the install and said screw it I’ll never get to it this year and sell it to me!! ha ha I know fat chance but hey if you don’t ask… lol
