# WTB: Rb or KA alternator

I bought a new one about 4 months ago and I can tell its starting to crap out already. Going on an RB20 engine, pretty sure all the RB alternators will work, and any KA will work as well. Not looking to spend huge dollars, pretty sure its the voltage regulator, which is almost the same as a new alternator itself.

I have one but i am in edmonton.
Its off a KA24DE, has approx 210,000 kms on it. Still worked fine even with the stereo i had in my car before.

Nis240 has one off of a s14 with 150,xxxkms. I believe the s14 has a higher output than the s13.

Yes it is a higher output and they mount the exact same except the big wire is moved the the side (about 1 inch defferent).

rb alternators are specific to rb’s.
just get it rebuilt by a reputable shop.

I have a S13 DOHC one there now. I just had to ream the middle hole of the bracket and everything else fit. I’m not sure what you mean.
