just like title says, as long as its under a yr old  
doesnt need to be the original  
photo copy is good

arent serial numbers on most electronics w/ a warranty? i know when i bought my zune they had to scan the serial number also

all i need is somekind of proof of purchase, i called ps and they will warranty my psp just by the serial number but i need to send them a recipt or a cancelled check. i paid cash and its been 9 months.

Go buy one and return it but keep a copy of your receipt?

yeah i was thinking that but it might be fishy to send in a reciept thats dated a week prior

if you go to walmart they’ll exchange your psp w/o a receipt for a new one.
