I am working on the exhuast on my truck and snapped a couple of the exhaust manifold to xover bolts and need to have them drilled out and tapped . There is also some cracks on the manifold that I would like to have welded up before putting it all back together . If anyone has the tools and know how and would like to make a couple bux I can drop them off tomarrow . Thanks

cast manifold ? if so, dont bother trying to weld it. theres ways to do it properly, but its mre time consuming then its worth

They are stock on a 1994 gmc 5.7 liter so I would assume cast .

you cannot repair cast manifolds …
if you could we would be a VERY busy shop …
we swap out atleast a dozen sets a month

I’ve had mild success with heating them up cherry red with a torch and then Mig welding them. Not a perm. fix but have had it hold up ok. With the aftermarket these days i cant imagine they are super expensive. I think i paid $25.00 for a left exh manifold for my 4.6L F150 off ebay.
