# WTB: SR20 alternator

my alternator died a few months back. i read that you can use a ka alt by changing pullies and drilling the bottom threads out. i did that and it worked, kind of. my lights pulse like crazy and the car has a super bumpy idle. checked the alt today and it was reading 16. when it should go no more than 14. apparently i will start cooking wires etc if i dont change this. so im looking for an accual sr20 alternator. sorry about the little rant, just thought you guys might want to know.

Give him your old sr20 one.
If he can’t fix it he’ll find you a new one at a good price.

i dont have my old one. i guess the regulators are different. so i just need an sr regulator to be running the correct power, hopfully i can just take my KA alt in and they can change it…

I have one but in calgary
