the rear diff is a 4.11 (from what I gather reading online, might also be a 3.73)

with a 4.11 and a 25.5 tire…

stock jetta is a:  
3.300 1.944 1.308 1.029 0.837 with 3.938 R&P

25.5 tire

43.8 MPH 1st  
74.35 MPH 2nd  
110.5 MPH 3rd  
140.47 MPH 4th  
172.69 MPH 5th

7500 shifts

so actually its a quicker gear set slightly
