# WTB/trade for: home theatre system

not looking for anything spectacular. it can even be a 3.1 system. i just want something with a subwoofer and tuner. anyone?

Check out Best Buy or Circuit City. For something basic they have a good selection of 3.1 and 2.1 systems.

I have a complete sony system I bought a couple of years back, and have not set it up since we bought our new house. I can look up the info on it and send you all the details later if you would like. The only thing is that I an in CT so I am not sure where you are to me so it may have to be shipped.
I know it cranks for sure whn I did use it for a short time, it has the 4 smaller wall mount speakers, 1 center speaker and a sub.

inexpensive, and actually sounds really good. it will play any media you put in it.

I picked this up a few months ago. 5.1, 1080i upconverting DVD player, ipod dock, usb input, aux input, etc. 98% of the time it sounds awesome, but every now and then a speaker will buzz. It drives me crazy because I have audio OCD but if that doesn’t bother you we can talk.

what do you want for it? i already have an upconverting dvd player though. does everything go through that?

Yeah everything goes through the one unit. It’s basically the DVD player and receiver all in one. I’d really need about $150 to make it worthwhile for me to sell it, so it’s honestly probably not worth it for you.

Actually I’ve got just the thing for you. My old home-theater-in-a-box type of thing. It’s made by Kawasaki. 5.1 with subwoofer. Sounds great. 5 disc changer. The only problem was that it started to get real finicky about accepting DVD’s and you’d have to turn it on and off a couple of times before it’d work.
AM/FM tuner, plays all formats of discs. MP3 and whatnot. I don’t know the wattage. I’d guess around 5 RMS per channel and 20 RMS Subwoofer? Just a guess. It sounds good and gets loud but you won’t be rattling any windows.
Say $50? I’ll get pics if you want.
EDIT: I think it was a Kawasaki 1152. I can’t find much info on it other than 130 watts. I can only assume that’s peak, but who knows. Heck it sounds better than the one I have now, it’s just too big to fit on my mantle.
