I’m looking for a VSS for a 96 civic DX 5spd, anyone have one? Looking to buy one asap if anyone has one laying around in their garage. Just figured i would check here before shelling out the money at an auto parts store.

I had to replace mine 2 years ago, got a NEW one off of ebay for dirt cheap and it’s still working good.

I tried to get mine locally too. It didn’t work out. I was a little worried about the quality of the one on ebay because sometimes its garbage, but it’s been working great for 2 years. IIRC, local parts stores wanted my left nut for one, so go the ebay route if you can hold off a couple days.

I used to have so many of these, IIRC any 92-00 D series sensor will work and B series will work if you swap the shaft/gear on the pickup.
