My brother asked me to post this for him, his exhaust is rotted out and wants a cheap cat back system to replace it. Anything but a fart can. Let me know if anybody has anything.

The best cheap aftermarket system for vw’s.

For the 96 2.0L, cat back’s are $235-375 depending on muffler choice.

Ya know, I thought about that but I bought one about 2.5 years ago for my jetta and it is totally rusted through. I actually have a Thrush universal muffler on now because the Flowmaster rotted out after a little over a year. I did however check with ECS and they have an Ansa for $189, i’ll check it out and see what the deal is.

just have jay have um buy a magnaflow or something like that and take it to monroe and have them bend something up.

When i had my teg i took it there with a 2.5 inch muffler n they bent an exhaust, welded on my muffler and hung it for like $125
