Like the title says im looking for a HD reciever for directv. If anyone has one laying around is or has a hookup/is looking to get rid of one id appreciate any help you can give me.

I have an old tivo HD unit, not sure if it would work tho.

do you have a 5 lnb dish? if not you really are wasting your time with a hd reciever

dont do it, as soon as you activate a HD reciever on your account they automatically renew your contract for 2 years without telling you. directv sucks and now im locked in till nov 09

Is that a different dish then the one i woulda got when i opened my account 2 months ago?? i would already have an hd reciever but i thought it would be a good idea to let my girlfriend handle ithe directv call and it went trerribly wrong and i really dont wanna have to pay 99.99 for a box that i should have gotten for free had my girlfriend ordered it correctly the first time

if u look at the dish it should have 5 lnbs on it.

Pm me i have a number for retention if u call them and explain they will probably give you what you need.

Directv cust service is very good.
