# wtf \</3 car insurance

How old are you? \<18 insurance is going to be awful, especially on something with “speed” in the name.

That said give Alliance Insurance on Dick Rd in Depew a call and see what they can do for you. When I was young and stupid in the higher risk pool they were always able to find me much better deals on insurance than I could find on my own.

As for snow, when I was going to college at Buff State I’d make the drive up 81 to visit family quite regularly. FWD tercel with all seasons driving over the [tug hill plateau](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tug_Hill_Plateau) on 81 and they set the records for snowfall in NY pretty much every single year. Never stuck, never in the ditch, driving in whiteout conditions more times than I can remember. Unless you’re driving like an idiot there is no reason to “fear for your life” while driving in the snow in a fwd car with decent tires. Out in the Rockies where you might get 15 feet of snow in a single storm, get buried, and die of exposure maybe… but not here in NY.
