snow tires \> AWD… especially since this crash situation wasn’t related to accelerating rather trying desperately and failing to stop. Snow tires + abs (supplement ABS for braking technique but we’re talking ‘the average driver’ so that wouldn’t work) might have given people a fighting chance of their cars surviving that mess.

I hadn’t watched that vid in a couple months, it’s so good.
