# WTT: Rims/tires for cheap 240

guys, help a dsm owner get back into a 240!
**Make/Model** : 89-94 Nissan 240sx
**Asking Price** : trade for rims/tires
**Condition** : Used, duh
**Mileage** : prefer under 200,000KM, but more is fine as long as it’s a decent car.

**Description:** my talon blew a transfer case which has made me realize i need a reliable daily driver that can get some gas mileage, the 2 240s that i owned were good to me and i have a lot of parts left over so it makes sense to get another one. i don’t have much money right now so i’d like to trade the rims that are on my talon for a cheap 240.
minor holes in the frame/body will be okay, but i don’t want anything that’s irreparable. e-tested would be a huge bonus, safety i can take care of. my ideal trade would be an 89-90 in good shape that needs an engine as i have a spare one that i could throw in.

anyway, details on the rims, they are almost brand new MSR 029 17X7" rims with a 5X114.3/5X100 bolt pattern, tires are Fuzion HRi’s with ~95% tread, about 2000km on them on an AWD car (can’t spin the tires). tire size is 215/45R17. both the rims and tires are mint, no curbage/oxidation/chips/anything. basically you’ll be getting a brand new set of rims & tires.
if you just want to buy them, make me an offer, i can always use the money to buy a car.

Looks like you’ve got an S13 chassis in the bg of one of those pics with a silvia front end on it. Gone now?

it’s someone else’s car that is paying for storage at my shop.
there’s actually 3 240s within 10 feet of the talon in that picture, haha. that one, a parts car from when i had my 240, and my friend’s 240 that he is parting out due to excessive frame rot.
