# xbox 360 hard drive.

as title states looking for a larger xbox 360 hard drive a 120 gig would prob work fine. let me know what you have

I’m not sure if this applies to you, but the Xbox 360 120GB hard drive I believe is just a 2.5" SATA drive (laptop hard drive). If yours died you could just replace with a used laptop hard drive and call it a day. If you need the full hard drive carriage then this post does not apply.

My new 4 gig xbox slim filled up the memory unit with the new maps for battlefield so I looked online and you can use an older model xbox hard drive by taking it a part and putting it in the new one. If you use an old hard drive from an xbox already its plug and play, if you use one from a computer or foreign source you have to hook it up to a computer and reformat the whole thing
