# XBOX FW ixtreme 1.7???

Has anybody heard any sort of news for the 1.7 ixtreme FW? Last i heard anything about it was maybe 2 months ago…and at that point i heard it was in testing for the lite on drives.
xbox-scene has nothing, due to mods deleting any thread asking about the FW. Doing a search on google doesn’t bring up much at all.
figured since the crazy amount of bannings, this would have been out by now.
anybody have any info on this?..Jay?

^ I happened around the 15th or so, hence the update on 12/19 “LT delayed until further notice!”.
Don’t know what that 1.61 update is but I can almost guarantee it’s not live safe.

I got into modding one by accident cause I was told it was a BenQ and had to look into it, it ranges from not too much harder than a Samsung, just a few extra steps, to requiring an extra piece of hardware and some other crap, depending on which LiteOn it is. Naturally it was the difficult one.

forgot to bump this the other day…but the FW for benq was finally released.
was able to flash with no problem.
