did u ever try it on the computer? if neither was getting an ip it woulda been either the modem or ethernet cord, and when you call tech support before replacing a modem they always have you switch the cord.

Verizon noobs.

i tried 5 cords. none of which worked thru the xbox but all worked thru the computer. it has to be the gateway. its 3 years old and supposedly its not compatible with xbox live. so now i have to go and buy a new one. thats so gay. im not too sure how much they cost but im guessing they arent cheap
