Yes you can. You enter promo code or something under the account management on your dashboard.
The point of the cards is for people to buy points/live access if they dont have a credit card to put on xbox live.

i see that also, if you apply for a [buy.com](http://buy.com) visa you can get an additional $30 off. Making it $8.88.
I did this through amazon with a monster power strip, saved the $30, and then paid the card off and cancelled it.

My buddy has a few of them for sale. Im pretty sure 25 a piece.
